As an undergraduate at Albion College in Albion, Michigan, Dr. Richard Reut performed as a standout in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, winning the school’s Biochemistry Award, earning induction to the Tri Beta Biology Honor Society, and appearing on the Dean’s list on numerous occasions. Following graduation, Dr. Richard Reut spent one year as a Personal Fitness Instructor for the Health Fitness Corporation of America in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Returning to the Midwest at the end of this period, Dr. Richard Reut enrolled in the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he ultimately earned his Doctor of Osteopathy in 1986. For the next several years, Dr. Richard Reut would remain in the greater Chicago metropolitan area, completing his internship, residency in family practice, and fellowship in sports medicine. Since 1991, Dr. Richard Reut has held a variety of roles in Chicago and the Minneapolis-St. Paul region, including Associate Director and Staff Physician with the Center for Athletic Medicine, Director of Primary Care Orthopedics at Midwest Orthopedics, and Staff Physician for Hennepin Faculty Associates. In 2006, Dr. Richard Reut joined the team at Twin Cities Orthopedics as a sports medicine practitioner and physician. An active contributor to charitable organizations in the community and beyond, Dr. Richard Reut donated his time and energy to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, Adopt-a-Grandparent, and the volunteer ambulance service during his undergraduate career. Today, Dr. Richard Reut continues these activities through the Adopt-a-School program, the Red Cross, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. When not working, Dr. Richard Reut enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, golfing, fishing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding. A resident of Excelsior, Minnesota, Dr. Richard Reut practices medicine in and around Minneapolis-St. Paul.
